"While the very busy Alliacense team negotiates
with more and more global manufacturers to become licensees of our jointly owned patent portfolio, the Patriot management and board are pursuing the other prong of our two-fold strategy by engaging in ongoing negotiations for a potential joint venture to enhance our Ignite(TM) chip as well as engaging in communications with another technology company whose attractive potential may lead to an investment or acquisition by Patriot."
I find much here to renew my excitement about this stock today.
First, that management is not off on Christmas vacation yet and that they appear to be hard at work during this year end. They've opened the avenue for an increase in shareholder value by these annoucements. Two additional signings brought to fruitation before the end of the year which sheds some light on the timely report of Brians which I found extremely encouraging in it's own right. Thank you again, Brian.
Secondly, not only are they negotiating with a joint venture candidate but they are also separately studying an acquisition. In reviewing Pohl's recent effort to inform the shareholders I have suddenly found renewed faith in the man. I feel he has earned some new capital with many of us in terms of trust and loyalty and I am willing to let all of my chips ride with the man.
Third, as Ron said, nothing is to be taken for granted in the courtroom, but I believe that this will never go the length of a jury trial. Precisely because a court battle can be a coin toss, I think that a deal will be struck before next November, perhaps sooner than later.
Fourth, TPL seems to be getting it's ducks in a row so there should be more frequent signings, especially with a new year right around the corner. I once thought that the J3 Arm case might become a hinge on share price until it settles one way or the other, but in fact, I think TPL will simply use the trial as a leverage tool to bring about more and better signings.
Fifth...lol... They actually put out some news on a monday. Who says that the PR firms are not learning as well.
We may have or are about to round the horn on this one and clearer sailing is just beyond the horizon.
I will tell you this... I always thought well of the potential of the company, but finding strength in the management team is by far equally gratifying.
Good luck, good sailing and happy holidays to all.
