I'd be asking for double that amount from each of the J3 and hoping for a multiple in the event that the case goes to trial.

Remember how long it took TPL to get Intel to pay, nothwithstanding all who have paid since? If the patents are confirmed as valid. it would be difficult to see how protracting licensing because, "They all have lawyers and wouldn't mind making them earn their pay. All this means time is running out," would work in infringers favor. Liabilty for past infringement continues subsequent to patents expiring.

I suggest that TPL/PTSC have more than shown intent to litigate with the continuation of the J3 case, yet are also open to negotiated settlement. Both the proverbial carrot and stick are in play at the same time.
