Do you (or anyone) know whether that "previewed" Sony 60G camcorder every hit the market? I'd guess it has....

But you make a good point.... IF the low Sony settlement on the MMP had to do only with potential future chip sales, and Leckrone forfeited millions to enable a sale of Intellsys chips, how many chips would have to be sold to offset the "voluntary" loss (even after the split with PTSC)? But then, I suppose the "loss" may have been acceptable on a strategic level - enabling Intellsys to boust about it's first customer - Sony. Still a tough call IMO.... And a little "out there" (when other explanations exist).
