A Robinson R22 depending on hours till rebuild run from about $75,000. to 185,000. 75,000 is for a timed out ship 185,000 would be new. The cost per hour is not cheap either. In the neighborhood of $75/80 per hour if you own it outright. Then lets talk about the cost of learning to fly it. Dual instruction runs about $200+ and takes a minimum of 40 hours. The average is more like 60. And that's a private pilots license.Which basically means you know enough to be dangerous.
