I'm a little confused and hopefully you might know the answer. You posted an article regarding USPTO upholding Microsofts FAT patent. The article is dated January 11, 2006.

On Pubpat's website they have an article claiming this patent was rejected after reexamination. That article is dated September of 2004 I believe.

Do you know if the January upholding of the patent was as a result of an appeal by Microsoft? Oddly enough, as you previously stated, there is no reference to the January 11, 2006 upholding of the patent anywhere on Pubpat's website.
