PTSC Launches Smart Card Validation Suite
Embedded processor developer Patriot Scientific Corp (PTSC) has announced the launch of a single cycle memory-to-processor interface reference and verification suite targeted at its potential Smart Card development and manufacturing customers.
PTSC claimed the suite was the first Single Cycle Memory Access Validation Suite designed specifically for the Smart Card industry and that the suite would enable Smart Card customers to "significantly advance execution bandwidth" and deliver twice the throughput of that offered by its competitors.
"This crucial and unique capability is enabling our customers to expand the current envelope of Smart Card performance as well as allowing them to drive the manufacturing cost of their Smart Card silicon lower," said Dr. Patrick Nunally, PTSC's chief technical officer.
