he might have had to "clear" his interest in Patriot if, as a PR recently posted here stated, he has taken a staff position at another company. In that same PR, he was quoted as saying that one reason he took a staff position was that, as an analyst on the outside, he couldn't sit on boards of the companies he was analyzing. Even so, you don't clear out options if you think the price could go even lower in any forseeable, permanent way.
