In addition, SSDI is now exploring use of its products in the Commercial Sector. SSDI maintains both a sales office and a warehousing facility at its logistics center in Anaheim and is seeking the right person to be able both to assist the SSDI Sales Manager in tracking sales calls and to be able to assist in the receipt of and shipping out to distribution of PDS product. SSDI is therefore seeking a Logistics Center Coordinator to become a key member of our Team. The position is located in Anaheim, would initially be filled on a part time basis, and should become a full time position as both business and product requirements expand. Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications: • Minimum of 5-7 years of “hands on” operations experience in warehouse management, some knowledge of sheet-metal manufacturing and Quality Assurance, working with Distribution and a full understanding of the sales/customer service process • Strong verbal and written skills, to include the ability to clearly engage customers on the telephone • Working mathematical skills • Ability to rapidly learn and work with new product sets and processes • Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds • Capable of forklift operation if required • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills • Spanish/English bilingual skills a plus • Previous experience with MRP and ERP software is a plus • An understanding of the Federal Contracting industry is also a plus • Thrives in a busy environment, is highly organized and goal oriented Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include: • Actively participate in the day-to-day operation of the Logistics Center • Actively support the daily sales efforts of the on-site Sales Manager • Prepare and ship all customer orders in an accurate, effective and timely manner • Validate all incoming material • Use all productivity tools and processes including Holocom’s Management Information System (MIS) to validate required task completion • Lead quality control efforts to accurately inspect, identify, handle, consolidate, label, stock, pick, pack and ship product and materials per Holocom’s policy • Reconcile and report inventory discrepancies promptly • Maintain inventory accuracy and follow internal customer service processes • Maintain a clean, well-organized, safe and attractive warehouse and environment to enhance safety and increase employee productivity In return for your talents, Holocom Networks offers you the opportunity to work with an emerging technology company providing you with substantial growth potential and an opportunity to thrive within a progressive corporate culture and environment.
