Let’s say that L&S have made arrangements for indirect control of these 40 million shares that were picked up in the .50 to .80 cent range (not at all likely in IMHO). And let’s round up and assume that L&S have direct control of 35 million shares.
Based on the above assumptions, L&S would have direct/indirect control of 75 million shares.
As of 2/28/07, there were 378,668,118 shares outstanding.
Based on the above, L&S would have direct/indirect control of just under 20% of the outstanding shares.
It is tough to compete with a 20% block vote. That said, I have seen nothing that backs up a view that L&S have this much control…; I think that the number is smaller. But, If I’m wrong…Agora members, please express your view.
I think that the retail shareholder has much more control than we realize.
