Thanks Ron. Everything taking place seems to me to be simply a ploy for the defense to buy more time and create as much uncertainty as possible. IMO, the defense is upset that the venue was changed to a speedier venue (Texas Rocket Docket), and by requesting the USPTO reexamination of the patents and most likely requesting a stay of the case pending USPTO review, they can buy more time to either (a) save cash for possible court loss, (b) create more uncertainty to help bargain a licensing agreement, (c) get LUCKY and have the patents invalidated. I give (c) the smallest % of chance simply because the patents have been scrutinized by so many large legal teams (just look at the licensed companies to date), that I truly only feel that (a) & (b) are the most likely scenarios. Hopefully there is no stay and the Markman happens as scheduled. The next three weeks will be interesting. I increased my position by almost 20% this week, making my investment probably more than it should be, but I believe in the patents, and am prepared to wait this out. AJMVHO Good Luck To All Longs.
