The timing of Pohl's retirement announcement is a bit suspect to me.

With the Shareholder's meeting this week and the Markman hearing 5/3/07 and an expected ruling shortly thereafter, WHY did Pohl decide to announce today?????

Today's announcement is looked upon as ho hum as is indicated by the share price, but a retirement announcement after a Markman ruling would have Pohl going out as a hero!

The only reason(s) I can think of is that he was asked to resign; or he sees a 'not so good' handwriting on the wall and wanted to be clear and gone from the fallout of a negative Markman ruling.
