Others have discussed some points raised in the SHM. Here are some which I thought made my trip to La Costa worthwhile.

I. The PR person who has been called many names on this board was at the meeting was was called to task as what he was planning to do to place PTSC in the limelight by a shareholder during the Question session? He gave a long and protracted response which in essence amounted to nothing as yet, because some of the information discussed in the meeting was not for public consumption?!?...

WELL!, here are some of the presentation by the TPL group which I found highly informative.

1) The TPL Group is strnogly confident that they will be succssfull on May 3rd:...

2) The process of "Marketing" their patent infringment claims to their potential "customers" was highly informative. They have assembled a group of world class experts who, through the process of reverse engineering, have assembled Mega banks of data on all sorts of products which use the silicon chips...

This is used in the form of portfolios that are sent to the likes of one of those 450 companies that were mentioned by others reporting. It identifies which part of the product infringes on which portion of what patent, and gives the Expert opinion as to why the claim of infringment is supported in fact and Law...

3) Using this "Shock and Awe", (their words not mine), method they have receievd over 380 responses, of which over 220, were seeking more information, and over 80 are at the negotiation stage, with 20 settled or approaching settlement. (the numbers are not exact).

This is indeed great news. Considering the recent decision of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal in Sandisk vs. ST Micrelectronics, which gives the parties the right to file for a Declatory Relief as soon as "issues are joined", we should have a rush to settlements assuming the confidence of the TPL that they are going to win the May 3rd Markman Hearing is realized...
