Incredible....I continue to be amazed at the posted salaries - IMO to be competitive in the valley, the bonus needs to be VERY substantial.
Looking at the Engr. Syst, Analyst position, the ideal would be a recent BSEE grad with a marketing bent.
Let's throw this out there as an example...major companies in
the valley bring in top quality BSEE and CS students and START them at
@ $90=95K, not including benefits and bonus, which is somewhere @ 8% of
salary to start.... Then you have TPL asking for about the samein
qualifications, at 50% of the "Comparative" base rate....How do they
compete?...can they compete?...How can they attract the talent? Santa
Clara Valley has a high cost of living....
IMO...they can't - not at this level,. but I've been surprised many times before.
