Based on the reports on the Markman I've read, I saw no place where Cook could be perceived as "punting".  That is, from what I've read, at no point did Cook simply repeat his (failed) agrument or state that he nothing to add (to the contrary, I believe it was reported that more clarifying information would be forthcoming per Cook).

Please correct me where I'm wrong.  I not trying to start a fight with you my friend, I just don't see it this way as I haven't interpretted any feedback in this way.  Maybe some fumbles, but no punt.
