Peregrine Pharmaceuticals is the company I'm referring to.

A merger between these two makes absolutely no sense from a business standpoint.

My speculation (that's all it is -- and it's not my hope!) is that with Pohl, Swartz and Johnson serving on the PPHM board together, there may have been some "blood thicker than water" negotiations going on.
