This is one of those rare occasions where we disagree.

No experienced CEO would take the job with all the uncertainties? Is that why TPL was able to snag the former Intel chief counsel for IP?

Did anyone expect a Steve Jobs type to take the reins? And would that be a good thing? Yea, good at marketing inferior tech, and good at borrowing seed money from Uncle Bill, but a tyrant plain and simple.

So what makes a good CEO? The recognized name is good, but the key is HIS ability to recognize the right people with whom to surround himself. Turley is well connected, and probably has that ability. And he certainly is not ignorant of the tech, or the possibilities of Inflame/Ignite - if anyone were able to take that tech forward, he's the man.

A good CEO also must be able to communicate well, with the market/industry and potential investors. Turley has this attribute nailed. He also has reasonably impressive business experience.

So I'm pleased with the selection.

I note that nobody is naming off better, available candidates. Personally, I would have disappointed if they had snagged an experienced fat cat (very expensive) arrogant SOB for CEO.

These things are JMHO, and therefore things I KNOW.
