He's obviously well-connected, knows a lot about the industry and has some hands-on experience with strategic moves, etc.
But he has absolutely no CEO experience (other than running his own consulting group), no discernible hands-on operations experience and he's been a tech consultant to PTSC for years and not ONE deal has been made to use Ignite/Inglame technology, despite the leading benchmark scores in the industy, even with his ties to the embedded systems companies. Nothing. NOT ONE.
He seems like a great guy and very knowledgeable. But he also seems the equivalent of a sports writer or sports agent who's been hired to manage the Cubs to the World Series.
Well, at least he probably won't kick dirt on the umpires' shoes....
