I do not presume to educate you on anything, unless perhaps wrt anesthesia or steelhead fishing... If Institutional investors were to decide to take a position(s), these shares would certainly not be retired, just removed from the trading float, until such time they decided to sell for profit. It is just one way, albeit an unlikely one, to possibly move the share price to big board levels without having to instistue the much dreaded r/s.. by reducing the trading float by (arbitrary number) 50%. That along with S&L no longer selling could work wonders..
again.. just my ignorant opinion
