I would think that the pr was written by either someone at TPL or someone at Hoffman. At any rate, I highly doubt it was written by an "outsider" and TPL was able to review before release. For that reason it doesn't make sense to think "the PR was not doen exactly as TPL/PTSC wanted".

Which does bring up another related point, however. Because of the way PR's are written, as illustrated above, it often looks like someone is interviewing a person making a quote. As I stated above, I don't believe that to be a correct assumption - someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway, the gist of what I'm getting at is, the remark by Leckrone was not an off-the-cuff remark, as it may come off as. It was intentionally put into the PR. People have discussed the various reasons why, and I can't add to that. But be very sure, it was put there for a reason.
