I also have dual Brit./Can. citizenship and have also been here for a long time. I love the diversity we enjoy in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). My husband (Larbac) is Canadian born, but his family roots are in Slovakia. We're quite an odd couple .... from totally different backgrounds, but it works.

I loved your line, "I get quite homesick at the drop of a British drama on PBS!" ...so funny. Yes, I get homesick, too; but, sadly, it isn't quite the same as it used to be. Oh, well. Big sighhhh :-)
