Could well be.  Do you know when the above was filed and/or granted for Fujitsu, and how soon aftewards the Fujitsu settelement was?

It's clear that TPL/PTSC's desire is to settle vs litigate, so I think they are willing to play ball with the infringersand give a little more than most would  if it is likely to move things more quickly towards a settlement.  "You attract more flies with honey.." kind of mentality IMO.
