It seems to me that your advice is 100% right.
Being self employed, for several years we carried catastrophic medical insurance, just in case we needed something we otherwise would not be able to pay for. It served us well and cost considerably less than other options. We always made certain the dectible was tucked away in case it would be needed.
Remember that "past experience is no guarantee in regard to the future...".
So, to all out there, trust what wolfpackvoltare has stated and ensure you are covered.
Wolf, you have to place yourself in the number one position and take care of yourself from now into the future. If stress, etc. related to this forum "gets to you", then excuse yourself and go about your life. It seems everyone here looks forward to what you post, but now it is time place yourself first.
