Ron, i have been there too......Something about the goodness that these animals bring into our lives , that we / i / are effected to such a degree that when my last dog had to be put down i was crying for hours.....

     You were fortunate to have such a good pooch for 7 years .. Your family rescued this dog and i am sure that blackie knew he was lucky.......
