Ron, My thoughts are with you and your family. I certainly understand what your family is going through right now. 3 months ago we had to have our German Shepherd put to sleep. It was a very difficult time. Even now I look to the back door for Sandy before I remember she's gone.

My daughter (age 4) came in the house a week later and said, "its just no fun in the back yard anymore. I'm afraid my daughter has lost the best friend she has had so far in her life and that is hard for me to take.
