In our case, the infringers are using the products as we speek and continue, the only problem would be that cost of a licence, how do you factor in the past, but when you through in the '336 along side it.........well the past is still has damages.

I see this as a way to define the exact intent and to fine tune the '584 to go forward for the future as well as the here and now. The past infringement can still be when you pile on the other patents.

Another question, if you do amend it, does that extent it longer???
