More evidence that this system is unjust and unfair to the patent holder/owner. The odds are stacked against validation from the get go. This is ridiculous IMO. The USPTO should be held accountable for it's ORIGINAL ruling of validity and should not be able to reverse it's original decision based on the whim of a defendent or another party in litigation. Why would anyone bother with having their patent validated by the USPTO in the first place if later on they simply overturn their decision.
