You must admit that there is a big difference between asking for a job and having it offered to you.  I think that was her point.  While I agree the overall issue is moot (Turley IS CEO), I too raised my eyebrows when you said he asked for the job.  He may indeed have.  But the facts you refer to don't clearly indicate he asked for the job, and I personally think it is far more likely that it was offered to him (when PTSC didn't attract the person with the desired finance background), he considered it and all the ramifications (moving the family, etc.), then accepted.

Still much ado about very little.  But it is surprising that a man who lives by the words as spoken and who avoids jumping to unfounded conclusions would not simply yield unless you had something tangible to back it up.  That's all Greeneyes asked for.  Your response, which created this non-sense, should have been replaced with you simply saying that it is just your opinion, not fact.

Just my unsolicited opinion.
