It is absolutely fair for anyone to express their view of the first audio presentation of the company in quite some time as superior or lame.
I heard Jim Turley stating the importance of marketing the company. No matter what you owned, if you did not market properly, you might as well hang it up. (cold fusion example). ( what I understood then was that Jim Turley knew about these companies and maybe he might be looking at them the same way he looked at the MMP portfolio in 1999). Knowledge conquers everything.
I heard him say that the IP was strong and fundamental to almost every electronic device in the world.
I heard him say that TPL was making sure that people who were using this device were now being made aware that if they wanted to continue, they had to be licensed.
I heard him not brag about how great PTSC is but that we were a work in progress.
I heard him thank long term investors for hanging in there.
I heard a CEO sound like a professional, regardless of who he was talking to.
I heard a CEO proud of the tradition established 20 years ago, who was ready to move forward.
I heard Jim Turley tell me to buy another share of .50 stock rather than a diet pepsi.
I am happy with what he said. We won't be talking to Jim Cramer anytime soon but what I heard today was just as good as any CEO Jim Cramer ever had on Mad Money.
We ain't got no iphone. We have an uphill battle on our hands.
I will be listening again to see what other deliverables he might have let slip. I encourage everyone else to do the same.
Regards, Oscar
