Envexed... Low SaO2 - 87%.. not as bad as it could have been.. also depends on # of hypoxic events /hr... Moderate OSA?
There was one additional procedure that I did not mention in my previous post. It is for reduction of snoring and can also help reduce OSA. It is the 'Pillar' procedure. It is a minimally invasive procedure that, under local anesthesia, slips plastic implants (strips) into the soft palat. After a few weeks or so this results in a tauter or firmer soft palate.. they act like the batans of a sail.. thus greatly reducing the movement of the continuely loosening soft palate tissue which vibrates during snoring
