Seems I remember you from way back when....
Thanks for reposting that Webcast. I was quite critical of it the first time, back taking a "step back", I have to say Turley did a great job. It actually took me a few seconds to recognize it was the same interview I heard "live" (so I totally failed the "name that tune" test! LOL), but it was interesting to me that my take the second time was much better than the first.
The "missing 14" he said were members of a subsidiary company, which I take to be Holocom (though I was under the impression that they retained more employees than that). Though I criticized Turley after my first "hearing" for not taking better control of the interview, I found that the interviewer did lead Turley down an interesting path (preplanned?) to discussion of, basically, "what company do you want to buy". The answer was a company with great patents/products AND marketing ability. Very provocative stuff.
The R&D discussion still throws me a bit, but this time 'round I got more the impression that he was talking Holocom (which suits me fine).
Anyway, that's my revised take. Funny thing is I'm quite bussed right now - Thursday is Rick's night out! LOL. Stranger is my newfound acceptance of an interview that I previously criticized. Is there a sublte mesage there? LOL
Maybe the message is that I KNOW nuttin'!!!
