Expeditor, Buyer & Trader (temp to perm)

This position is Temporary (6 weeks) to Permanent. You can test out our company and get a feel for the job before making a full commitment to the position.

We are looking for someone who's very familiar with buying and selling online and with eBay. You will go to the local stores (Fry's, Best Buy, Circuit City) to purchase/pick up items as requested. You must have a valid California Driver's License and a vehicle.

You are someone who can talk their way into (and out of) anything. Who has some inside sales experience and wants to be the Go Getter of the group. You will also search product information and manuals online, as stated below.

Previous work experience in the Medical, Aerospace and/or Electronics industry is a major plus.

You will also be a strategic and analytical thinker who will work with suppliers and colleagues to investigate and acquire products or product information for reverse engineering purposes. You will purchase and resell products online, through vendor contacts and by other creative means.


Position Description:

• Shopper: Must be an experienced internet shopper.

• Researcher: Able to research service manuals, specs and detailed product information online and through vendor contacts.

• Organized: Working with internal systems/databases to report findings and present recommendations.

• Multi-tasker: Must be a self starter that can handle and prioritize various and diverse projects at the same time.

• Stick-to-it Attitude: Absolute tenacity and creativity in developing ways to find products and product information is an absolute requirement to be successful in this position.

• Negotiator: Will gain access to equipment/products for purposes of documentation by our team.

• Coordinator: Will purchase, rent or gain access to equipment and products in creative ways and by being a persistent and assertive negotiator.
