As Fs2003 brought up this discussion with the BMW X5 example, I'd like to add some points concerning the automotive industrie:

Besides the well known electronic equipment as a CD/DVD-player, navigation system, radio etc. many many electronic devises are built in for securitiy systems, ABS/ESP, air conditioning, engine management, transimisson control, light control and and and........Beyond this equiment are microcontrollers which control at the end all fuctions.

Therefore, in case of the MMP more companies besides the well know OEM machfacturers in this business area are potential MMP licensers as

- Harman Kardon

- TRW

- TAKATA

- Continental

- Magnetti Marelli

- Lear

- Brose

- Jhonson Controls

- Siemens VDO

- Valeo

- ZF
