IMHO when you patten an idea it does not have to work or be the best.... I once saw very odd designs of many items that you laugh at when you look @ the patten.... so a statement about performance or ablity comes the the inventor.... the usage/products of the future validate this.... thier are people who just try to patten ideas & thoeries hoping for future application... this is what many inventors do,,,,
