I had a conversation with Pohl last yr regarding ARM and possible '336 infringement.. I asked why they had only been accused of '584 infringment and would we see them accused of '336 infringment going forward..? He stated he absolutely expected to see Arm enjoined in the '336 infringement [paraphrased & my words]. I had been waiting to see TPL/TTC force Arm to answer to more than just the '584 accusation.. time passed and it became apparent this was not going to occur at this time. Now the most recent developments, Arm released from this litigation... I can only speculate that Arm's accusation of '336 (and possibly '148) infringement is being put off until later for strategic reasons... TPL possibly wants to license most Arm licensees first.. TPL may not have wanted to have to sift thru all Arm's products (IP) for infringement, at the same time as Toshiba's, Matsu's & NEC's (time constraints).. perhaps this gives Arm the time to build a settlement cache as per their request.. they most definately tho have Arm's attention... and Arm is now fully aware of '336 & '148.
I would be shocked if Arm's products did not infringe '336 '148
