One more thing. This is my opinion, I am not an attorney, only a dedicated PTSC long...but..
All along I have said that ARM was setup, I just didn't know how. Maybe we now know how they were setup, let me explain. May make sense, and maybe not...but here it goes.
We all know ARM intervened, they were not sued by TPL/PTSC. Because they crashed the party without invitation, I believe is the main reason we were awarded a stipulation without prejudice and we did not have to pay their court fees. That's OK, but I believe it gets better.
ARM was mad because they felt our claims were too broad, and wanted the court to narrow the claims so that we could not go after other ARM products in the future. See Wolfs post below:

OK, you say big deal. Well here it is. Using a poker analogy, we saw ARM's cards, they have not seen all of ours. We know their defense (cards), claim 29 right justification. We round about forced them to intervene and protect their customers, show their defense (cards), and they don't really know our hand because we accused them of everything. Since we didn't sue them, we get a stipulation without prejudice, and now our legal team as well as our team of engineers can focus on identifying the ARM products (if any) that do infringe, or, better argue claim 29 in the appeal. If the USPTO reaffirms the "584, than even better. Think about it, ARM claims victory, but is still vulnerable. So, what I am saying, is that maybe this was just a way of forcing ARM to open up or disclose information without us putting anything at risk. We didn't lose, but we know their defense. Maybe it makes our job easier? Kind of like a practice game before the game that counts.
Again, I am not an attorney, just a true PTSC long. So, my idea might full of more holes than swiss cheese. But it is Sunday, and I had some time to think about it, so I thought I would throw my 2 cents out there. Hope everyone is well! Bill, you spend a lot of time on this board, super bright, level headed, have a brother as a backup, so I vote for you as moderator should the time ever come that we get one.
Good luck to you, me, us, and all longs.
