Message: No settlement during mediation

This is as i suspected and posted a few weeks ago. Both sides are going to stick to their guns till the trial. Both believe they are absolutley right in their stance and thus we go to court in Jan.

As I posted back then, time is on the side of the defendants. Legislative and Judicial actions regarding patents is moving in their favor...but...almost all I've read says...any new legislation will have at least a one year delay in implemetation. That being surmised, leads one to believe the defendants have no relief in any new legislation...but who knows...lawyers like to enter info that could sway a "peered' jury, just by getting that into any discussion that could ensue during trial.

Add into this development our latest 10Q that really shows a dramatic reduction in earnings and cash...and any newbie who might have had some interest in the stock...could be pushed away from buying, esp. if they do not realize a lot of cash was spent for the reduction of the warrants...which was the smart thing to do. But that's how the street/public view things. Comparisons from previous quarter to current quarter and year ago quarter to current quarter.

Once agian this leads to Mr. Turley's previous statements involving acquiring or combining companies to get an ongoing revenue stream that analysts and common investors can relate to. It also takes away the uneasiness of trying to calculate PE ratios when the earnings are not constant and are of a one-time nature...so far at least. Bad side is, he mentioned a time frame of 12-18 months to get that initiated and obviously he's factoring in money needed from a positive trial outcome/settlement. Even at the best case scenario , we're looking at some time late in '08 early '09 for this to come to fruition.

So what does this mean to our PPS...IMO..we will drift down...and hopefully not in large chunks. The lack of big dollar licenses and the fact that the street/investors just hate the specter of doubt involved with case will drive it a bit downward...at least at first. New licenses and more PR could offset some of this.

For us longs who still see a bright '08 we could be looking at some prices that we haven't seen in quite a while and could add shares at some good prices if we choose to do so.

All JMHO but GLTA...still going to hold long and strong.
