That is the "Question" which I recall was asked at the last SHM and Leckrone Senior addressed it...

My recollection is that he stated the time was extended beyond the the "expiration date" of the patent...

I do not recall the "time period" of the extention, nor do I remember the reasoning given by Leckrone why this would happen...

I sure would love to have an input on this based on any one's notes taken at last SHM...
