Tompkins was where infinite combinations of a whole laundry list of criteria and any combination thereof were being used as reasons to declare any or all of the MMP obvious. This tactic would not be captured by the proverbial throw crap at the wall and see what sticks. It is more appropriately analogous to maybe when an army of snowblowers plows through a mountain of horse manure indoors and see what might stick to the wall then. "See your honor! If we combine #72 with # 11 and turn it upside down and inside out and then flatten it and invert it we get the EXACT same thing".
