I alluded to that, i.e., separate licenses/settlements.  I just think that a settlement in this current case would only address the patent/ claims pertinent to this case.  I'm sure there is the possibility on, utimately, a complete MMP license, just with multiple "pieces of paper".  The court is not even looking at 4 of the 7 patents (never did - no claims of infringement brought to court), and probably isn't even looking at the '584 any more.  Why would any paper presented to the court (e.g., settlement paper) address patents in which the court is not interested? 

This line of discussion probably doesn't matter....  One piece of paper vs. mutiple (some submitted to the court, some not).  Same end result.
