the short run might be ok. In the long run I have to disagree as the '584 also means money!

However, I don't think TPL/PTSC write off this patent if they see a real chance to disprove the MH. Furthermore, they also have the chance at the USPTO to overwork some claims to strengthen the patent. We havn't any information ready in case of an invalidity etc. and therefore I am sure they easily give up.
