I hesitated to post that knowing someone would jump up and protest. I'm not overly concerned about his statement, I am however, acutely aware that new comers who bought that line may be very unhappy with the situation. I speak from a position of experience. I talk directly with our CEO on a daily basis and also have the privilege of having a very close relative who founded a successful company on the NYSE. Both of these individuals have taught me that speaking from a position of authority can have dramatic repercussions amongst investors.
I don't fault Mr. Turley for making the statement, I chalk it up to inexperience. One things for sure, I most certainly don't have to like or agree with his choice of words. It doesn't mean one is hoping for misery. It simply conveys my opinion that, "up and to the right", statements are usually seen as childish to the investment community. IMO...........
