Never, ever post a phone number for anything on this or any other message board!

When I saw that post with the phone number for EDoT in it, I cringed big time. I knew what was about to happen (as was experienced on EDIG, where people started calling prospective customers and fouled things up for EDIG on more than one occasion). Posting your SSN would probably be less damaging (after all, people would have to DO something with it - expend effort - beyond simply picking up the phone and dialing).

Hopefully the lesson has been learned.

Will this hurt us? Rational people would think not. But people are people (inherently irrational at times). So, IMO, YES, it could hurt us. "Your Honor, these people from this company named Patriot something keep calling us - and it's driving us crazy!". Yup, that'll make us look real good. You never know what might be a "PO" trigger.

Please, please, never again! Think before you post.
