I am sure the posters making the calls had the best intentions. However, many posters have made a convincing argument that the calls may cause a potential problem. Why take the chance? It is not like anyone is reporting back with useful information.
As many have said before, it will happen, when it happens. No, we are not there yet. Asking, over and over, will not change anything (for the better).
