Have a crack at the trial version of Kaspersky internet security.  It's free for a month.  That's what I did and I was shocked at the junk in my computer.  They have a wonderful support team and gave me wonderful advice as to how to get rid of some things that I could not delete.

I liked it so well that I even paid for it!  (This comment from someone that is ordinarily tighter than a drum.)
