I rarely post but follow the board almost every day. I had dinner with our patent attorney in Austin TX this week and told him about the PTSC situation. (as an aside, he knows Judge Ward and he's an electrical engineer who worked at Texas Instr for 10 years before becoming a patent atty).

After telling him about the J2(5) and the upcoming trial ........ his first comment was: "the japanese will cave" he said: "probably on the courthouse steps". That they fear the US judicial system is biased against them. He went on to say they fear the jury of "very common folks".

Our attorney also knows the Japanese very well........he has dealt with them as clients and as a litigant. He has been to Japan 14 times this year.

This was of some comfort to me......just thought I would share. Maybe wolf will benefit as well. Not sure its enough to make me a buyer on Monday......but it helps offset some of the recent negativity.
