I agree with you.  As I have said before, I don't believe an Ignore button will do anything to improve this board.  The thumbs down button was abused, and so will an Ignore button.

I don't see the problem with just skipping over O.T. topics that you don't want to read.  It takes a couple of seconds.

I just disagree with you on this, Ease, but I do think your contributions to this board are super :-)
