For your scenario to work you would have to have corporate legal and treasury departments that actually talk to each other, or a strong senior/chief executive to call the shots.  From personal experience, not many corporate cultures encourage this type of collaboration on a routine basis.

Also, I would think there may be some insider trading concerns (not that those would stop everyone, LOL).  And some treasury officers would not touch a BB stock, of course.  JMHO.
