Don't know if this has been mentioned before in this context. But, this may add to your euphoria.

Why would both parties agree to a motion to expidite a ruling on a motion (ACP), and then both agree to a stay on the whole case? The ACP Motion must have been ruled on. If we had lost that ruling I don't think settlement talks would be progressing and no need for a stay.
