While you may very well be correct, and a PR of significant substance may come before the open, IMO we should not set up such an expectation.
Another scenario: a deal has been made today with one of the Js, and JT is a required approval authority (via his position with PDS/PTSC). Once executed, the agreement may not even be announced until the money is literally "in the bank". Thus the associated announcment PR may not come for a few days. I'm not necessaarily suggesting this is the case, but it could conceiveably be. With the dollars involved, I doubt a FAX sign-off would suffice, so off to TX.
Just another scenario, but one that shows that we needn't get excited if there isn't a PR tomorrow.
Much ado about very little, IMO. It was supposed to just be a recap - nothing new or urgent. Yet people demand an explanation. It ain't that important.
Heck, maybe he's finalizing an acquisition - would you expect him to announce that prematurely (not you Milestone, buy other "inquiring minds")? Would he want to announce a death in the family? That he has a case of the trots?
And people jump on this trivial thing to proclaim that management is inept.....while having absolutely no clue what the reason for cancellation is. Gotta wonder....who's the inept party here?
FWIW, and I KNOW nuttin'!
