I'm guessing technical analysis and predictive models of trading/volume patterns was not built on the kind of business that PTSC is in at the present time.

Intellectual property (instead of number of product/widgets produced and valuation over time) with either a yes or no answer to most questions related to value right now.  If, and when, court cases and patent validity are resolved, seems that tech analysis would be more likely to be modeled --  my perspective anyhow.
